Afterword:
I always loved lunar lander style of games. I just wish they were made for these older consoles back in the day... That's why I built one for the gameboy!
Let me know what you think and if you would want a full version of the game!

I adore it. I love Lunar Lander and this was quite satisfying. Visuals were perfect (and they look great on Analogue Pocket.) SFX were well chosen. The last level was a delightfully difficult (the infinite lives really helped)! I was entertained that going too far into the stars can crash you! Not so entertained that the play field boundaries can crash you since there is no shown border. If you are doing more with this (and I would play more!), I would suggest placing borders at the edge of the playfield, and perhaps an indicator that shows the direction of the launch goal from where you are (or at least where you need to go from the start point.) And perhaps an option for infinite lives vs. limited lives for the difficulty junkies!
Thank you for making this! It was a real treat to play.
Thanks for the wonderful feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I am looking to continue working on this and absolutely appreciate the ideas. I'm glad you enjoyed and made it through the last level!
Well-implemented smooth controls! It is easy to control but challenging :) love the 1bitart style <3
Thank you for the feedback!! I'm glad you thought the controls were smooth and the gameplay challenging!
actually pretty impressive for gb studio physics and controls-wise. great work! :0
Thank you for the awesome feedback! I appreciate you playing my game!
For the physics, all I did was change the player's velocity, using the "player fields" plugin, in a simple timer loop. Since I can control the time with the loop and the velocity with the plugin, I am able to easily set the acceleration of the spacecraft! All done without needing to eject the engine code!
